Tagaytay City is part of the province of Cavite in southern Philippines. It has a mild climate and breathtaking scenery and people from all walks of life come and see this one of a kind place to enjoy the magnificent view of the very famous, Taal lake.
There are several bus companies going in and out of Tagaytay City. Araneta center terminal in Cubao has buses going to the said place. You can find another one in Lawton, near Manila City hall.
But how to get there if you have your own car? Check them out below;
1. From Manila / Makati area, if you have a car you can use SLEX Sta. Rosa Exit, this is the most popular and easiest way going to Tagaytay. From the exit, you just have to drive straight all the way to Tagaytay Public Market then you turn right going to Tagaytay city proper and Nasugbu/Balayan/Lemery Batangas or left going to People’s Park in the Sky. Travel time from Manila to Tagaytay using SLEX would just take you two hours.
2. Another alternative route you can use if you are coming from Manila / Makati area is through the use of Roxas Boulevard, Coastal Road and Aguinaldo Highway. But be patient because heavy traffic occurs along the long stretch of Aguinaldo highway daily.
3. You can also use Daang Hari Road that passes through Molino, Bacoor, Imus, Dasmarinas, Silang then Tagaytay.
Cabanas and Inns are far more affordable than those hotels located in Tagaytay so better look for Inns / Cabanas around the place if you don’t have enough budget for a one night hotel stay.
